If your transfer to a mobile money wallet failed, you may be able to resolve the issue with the help of the recipient. Please find steps for common errors below.
Couldn't deliver to recipient
- The recipient's mobile money account may be full or unable to hold your entire transfer. Please have them check their balance and wallet maximum limit – they may be able to increase their limit by visiting a mobile money agent or contacting MTN.
- Ask the recipient to contact MTN and make sure they have an active mobile money account and it has not been suspended.
