UAE - Sign Up Process

Account creation process:

Here's a step-by-step guide to getting started with the Taptap Send application:

1. Open the app, tap on "Sign up". You can also sign in using your Apple ID or Google account (Gmail) by tapping the Apple or Google icons.
2. Enter your first name and last name as indicated on your Emirates ID.
3. Enter a valid email address to which you have access and create a unique password with a minimum of 8 characters.
4. On the next page, provide your phone number and enter the confirmation code sent to you via text message.
5. Add your date of birth and select your country of residence, such as the UAE.
6. Choose your nationality
7. Select the reason for which you’ll mainly send via Taptap Send, such as to family or friends
8. Choose the most relevant occupation that best describes your situation
9. Enter your home address 
10. You have now completed the signup process!

Next, you’ll need to verify your account by uploading your Emirates ID and taking a selfie photo. Once approved, you can start sending money via Taptap Send! 

We will also ask you to verify your address in the 30 days following your first transfer. This is a requirement in the UAE to ensure the authenticity of your account as well as a safe and secure user experience.
