If you sent money to the wrong person or to the wrong number, what can you do?
Cash Pickup:
If you contact our customer support team, we can change the mobile number and/or the name of your recipient. Please make sure that you give the correct details to our customer service agents. Transfers can be edited provided that they have not been picked up yet. Alternatively, we will be happy to process a refund of the transfer for you.
Bank transfers:
We cannot modify or refund bank transfers once they are processed so it's very important to make sure that the details are correct.
It is important to always double-check before sending your transfer to make sure the details are accurate. Taptap Send allows editing everything until the very last step for that reason.
Tips for the recipient
Please find below some useful information to help your recipient with Banrural transfers:
- They need to obtain an internal bank customer number (MIS) from Banrural Bank to receive Cash Pickups via CAJA RURAL.
- Their name should match the name on the ID document.
- For security reasons, the recipients will be asked for their sender’s name.
