How can you send money to Bangladesh?
You can send money via Taptap Send to any bank in Bangladesh, or to cash pickup services using BRAC Bank, Bank Islami, Mutual Trust Bank, Sonali Bank, Dutch Bangla Bank or you can also send to bKash, Nagad or Rocket mobile money wallet.

If you sent money to the wrong person or to the wrong number, what can you do?
Please always double-check every transaction detail before you send money. We make it easy for you to edit any transfer details before the final payment confirmation step.
For Bank transfers
We cannot modify or refund bank transfers once they are processed so it's crucial to ensure the details are correct.
For Cash pickup
If you made an error with the phone number or recipient name, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We would be more than happy to assist you in reviewing the situation. To get in touch, please send an email to support@taptapsend.com via your registered email address.
For Mobile Money
Make sure you input the correct phone number. If you made a mistake with the recipient’s phone number, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do. As long as it is a valid phone number, even if the name doesn’t match, the transaction is processed once you confirm payment and the fund cannot be reversed.
Tips for the recipient
Guidelines for Cash Pickups in general
- When the money is ready for pickup, your recipient will receive an SMS with a pickup code
- You can also share this code via the Taptap Send app by tapping on the transfer and selecting 'Share Code'
- Your recipient needs to provide this pickup code and their valid identification document (ID) at the cash pickup point to collect the funds

bKash
Please find below some useful information to help your recipient cash out money with bKash in Bangladesh:
- Your recipient can dial *247# on their phone to consult the e-wallet balance
- Visit the nearest agent or ATM and input the desired amount they would like to cash out
- Provide their Bkash account number and ID number if needed
- Type their PIN number which they set when they created their bKash account (Always keep PIN a secret!)

Nagad
Please find below some useful information to help your recipient cash out money with Nagad in Bangladesh.
There are different ways your recipient can receive the money:

Nagad Regular Account:
- Nagad has its lowest Cash Out rate of Tk 11.48 per thousand (1000) taka (including VAT) from the Nagad Regular app(smartphone user).
- Cash Out charge in Nagad USSD (non-smartphone user) for Regular Customers is Tk 15.00 per thousand taka (including VAT).

Nagad Islamic Account:
- There will be a charge of Tk 15.00 per thousand (1000) taka (including VAT) from the Nagad Islamic app (smartphone user).
- Cash Out charge in Nagad USSD (non-smartphone user) for Islamic Customer is Tk 15.00 per thousand taka (including VAT)

No identification document (ID) or any forms are required for cash out:
- Go to the nearest Nagad Uddokta point.
- They should log into their Nagad App or dial *167#, select the Cash Out option
- Then, they can the QR code or type in the number of the Uddokta
- They should type the Cash Out Amount
- They should type the PIN number that they set when they created a Nagad account (always keep PIN a secret!)
- Finally, they should confirm the transaction and the cash-out is done!

Rocket
Please find below some helpful information to help your recipient cash out money with Rocket in Bangladesh.
Once the transaction is sent successfully via Taptap Send to your recipient’s Rocket wallet, the recipient will receive an SMS from Dutch-Bangla bank limited (DBBL) about the deposit.
Once received, your recipient may choose to withdraw the fund in cash at an agent or via an ATM. Please note that the information provided below is only for your reference, please check DBBL’s website for the most updated instructions.
Cash withdrawal at an agent (DBBL’s website)
- Visit any DBBL Branch and ATM, DBBL authorized- Own agent, UISC, Banglalink, Citycell & Airtel retail points and Mobicash marked outlets of Grameen Phone
- Request the amount to withdraw, the agent will then initiate a transaction
- DBBL sends a message (via USSD Flash) to your recipient’s mobile (or via IVR Call): "Welcome to Dutch-Bangla Bank. You are going to withdraw Tk.XXX from your account. If you want to continue enter your 4 digit pin or if not cancel the call”
- Your recipient enters their PIN to confirm the withdrawal
- A confirmation SMS will be sent as the money is handed to your recipient
Cash withdrawal at an ATM (DBBL’s website)
- Visit any Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM, press Mobile Banking Button on the ATM’s screen
- Enter their 12-digit Rocket account number and press Correct once done
- Your recipient enters their PIN
- Your recipient enters their PIN to confirm the withdrawal
- Your recipient will receive a message (via USSD Flash) or and IVR Call from DBBL
- Once confirmed, the money is cashed out
