Can I add my Taptap Send Card to Google Pay?

Yes, you can add your Taptap Send Card to Google Pay and use it to spend wherever Google Pay is accepted.

 

How do I add my card to Google Pay?

You can add your Taptap card to Google Pay in one of two ways:

  1. Press the “Add to Google Wallet” button on the Card Details page in the Taptap Send app, and follow the instructions from there
  2. Add your card to Google Wallet manually by opening the Google Wallet app on your Android device, pressing “+ Add to Wallet” in the bottom corner, selecting “Payment card”, entering your Taptap Send Card details and completing any verification steps required

 

Why isn’t adding my card to Google Pay working?

If you tried adding your card details to Google Pay manually and they were not accepted, please check the following:

  • That the card number was input correctly
  • That the card expiry date and CVV code were input correctly
  • That your phone number, email, name and address are fully up to date

 

How can I remove my card from Google Pay?

  • Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device
  • Tap on your Taptap Send Card to open up your Taptap Send Card
  • Press the “…” button in the top right hand corner of the screen
  • Select “Remove payment method” from the menu of options

 

How do I set my Taptap Send Card as my default payment method on Google Pay?

  • Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device
  • Tap on your Taptap Send Card to open up your Taptap Send Card
  • Press the “…” button in the top right hand corner of the screen
  • Select “Make default for tap to pay”

     

How many devices can I add my card to?

We allow you to add each Taptap Send Card to up to 5 devices.

 

How many cards can I add to a single device?

We allow customers to create a maximum of 5 Taptap Send Cards with us, this is therefore also the maximum you can add to a single device.
