Why have you asked me for additional information to confirm my identity?

We are required by UK law to collect certain information, for example date of birth, from all of our customers. As you send more money through Taptap Send, we may need to collect further information. For example, in some cases we may need to request a picture of your ID for you to send more than £900. For all customers, we'll need your ID if you send more than £9000 through our service.

We may ask for other information relating to your account on the phone, but we will never ask you for your password over the phone.
