We understand that you may have encountered some difficulties while attempting to connect your bank account (Emirates NBD) for money transfers through Taptap Send.
As this step is mandatory to send money, please see the step-by-step instructions below for assistance.
You must have your bank app downloaded to your mobile device in order to connect your account.
1- Upon opening the app, you will see a prompt banner at the top of the screen. Tap on the "Connect Bank Account" option.
2- Select your bank from the list: Emirates NBD.
3- Enter your username and password associated with your bank account. This information is securely encrypted and will not be accessible to Taptap Send or any unauthorized parties.
4- Enter the Smart Pass account token. If you are unsure how to obtain a Smart Pass token, click on the instruction link provided on the screen for guidance.
Taptap Send will then be added as a beneficiary to your bank account and you will be able to initiate payments within 24 hours.
We want to emphasize that the entire process is designed to maintain your privacy and security. Taptap Send does not have access to your bank account at any point during this process.
Additionally, as part of our compliance with financial regulations in the UAE (DFSA), we might need to request additional documents for account verification, such as proof of address. Proof of address can include official documents displaying your full name and registered address, such as (online) bank statements, lease agreements, utility bills, or Ejari.
