There are different ways you can use promo codes at Taptap Send:
- You refer a friend and share your own personal code and get a bonus every time a friend uses your code and Taptap Send for the first time (see details below)
- You received a special code from our marketing team and can redeem it when sending a transfer (see details below)
Sharing your code with friends & family
If you like using Taptap Send, you can refer a friend to our app and you will both get a £5/€5 bonus credit when your friend sends money for the *first* time.
To refer a friend, click the menu icon in the top left corner. Your code will be displayed in the bottom left corner. Select "invite friends" and you will be able to choose the method to send your code.
To make sure you both receive £5 or €5, your friend needs to enter your code when making their first transfer. The code needs to be entered at the stage where you indicate the amount to send (the initial one).
You can refer as many friends as you want, there is no limits!
Once your friend has used your code and sent their first transfer, you will both receive the credit directly in your account. The credit will be automatically added to the next transfer you send.
Attention: if your friend already uses Taptap Send, that offer will not work. Also, your friend has 90 days to redeem your code.
Using a marketing promo code
Once you received a promo code from our marketing team, you can redeem them at the very beginning of the transfer flow. Click on "Have a promo code?" and the voucher will be immediately applied to the transfer you are sending.
If the code does not match the criteria defined by our marketing team, it will not work and you will see an error message instead.
You have 90 days to use the promo code you received.
