OrangeMali users have at least 2 accounts in their wallet; the local account called “compte principal” (main account) and the one less known, called “compte plus” that receives international transfers. It is what we call the sub-wallet. Naturally, Taptap Send transfers land in the “compte plus” and some users could struggle to see their transfers since this account is not well known.
Great to know:
- TTS transfers land in the compte plus
- Funds can be withdrawn directly from the compte plus
- Withdrawal of received funds is free of charge
- When they receive a transfer, they still get an SMS notification from Taptap Send
- They don’t necessarily need to withdraw the money, they can spend it from their wallet to pay bills, shopping, purchase airtime…
- Both KYC approved and non-approved accounts can receive international transfers.
- Non-KYC verified accounts can only receive amounts up to 200,000 Francs CFA (EUR 305.00 - GBP 260.00 - USD - 330 - CAD 450.00 - AED 1215.00)
