Refunds and errors when sending from the United States


Funds will be available for use or collection immediately upon receipt by the Recipient, subject to any local regulatory requirements. Payment will be made at the exchange rate quoted in your receipt. Please note that for transfers sent to Haiti, a Haitian Government fee on remittances transfers will be deducted from the amount received by the recipient. The actual exchange rate for the fee will be determined at the time of payout based on the published Central Bank rates. 


You can cancel within 30 minutes of initiating the transaction, unless the funds have been paid to the designated recipient or deposited in the designated bank account, by calling Taptap Send Support at (833) 916 0670 or emailing us at Please contact Taptap Send Support if you have questions about your transaction. 

*Your recipient may receive less due to fees charged by the mobile wallet provider, by a bank and/or foreign transaction taxes. 

You have a right to dispute errors in your transaction. If you think there is an error, contact us within 180 days by email ( You can also contact us for a written explanation of your rights.

You, the customer, are entitled to a refund of the money to be transmitted as a result of this agreement if Taptap Send Payments Co. does not forward the money received from you within 10 days of the date of its receipt, or does not give instructions committing an equivalent amount of money to the person designated by you within 10 days of the date of the receipt of the funds from you unless otherwise instructed by you.

If your instructions as to when the moneys shall be forwarded or transmitted are not complied with and the money has not yet been forwarded or transmitted, you have a right to refund of your money.

If you want a refund, you must mail or deliver your written request to Taptap Send Payments Co. at 228 Park Ave S., Suite 87488, New York, NY 10003-1502. If you do not receive your refund, you may be entitled to your money back plus a penalty of up to $1,000 and attorney’s fees pursuant to Section 2102 of the California Financial Code.
