Can I add my Taptap Send Card to Apple Pay?
Yes, you can add your Taptap Send Card to Apple Pay and use it to spend wherever Apple Pay is accepted.
How do I add my card to Apple Pay?
You can add your Taptap Send Card to Apple Pay in one of three ways:
- Press the “Add to Apple Wallet” button on the Card Details page in the Taptap Send app, and follow the instructions from there
- Add your card to Apple Pay manually by opening the Apple Wallet app on your iOS device, pressing “+” in the top right corner, selecting “Debit or Credit Card”, entering your Taptap Send Card details and completing any verification steps required
- Add your card to Apple Pay by opening the Apple Wallet app on your iOS device, pressing “+” in the top right corner, pressing “Taptap Send” under “From Apps on Your iPhone” and following the instructions from there. Note, this method requires having the Taptap Send app installed on your phone.
Why isn’t adding my card to Apple Pay working?
If you tried adding your card details to Apple Pay manually and they were not accepted, please check the following:
- That the card number was input correctly
- That the card expiry date and CVV code were input correctly
- That your phone number, email, name and address are fully up to date

How can I remove my card from Apple Pay?
- Open the Apple Wallet app on your iOS device
- Tap on your Taptap Send Card to open up your Taptap Send Card
- Press the “…” button in the top right hand corner of the screen
- Press “Card details”
- Press “Remove card” at the bottom of the menu
Can I add a card again if I deleted it once?
Yes, if you removed your Taptap Send card from Apple Wallet on your device, you can re-add it to Apple Wallet, provided your card number is still active. If you have terminated your card fully within our app, then you will need to add the new card number to your Apple Wallet.
How do I set my Taptap Send Card as my default payment method on Apple Pay?
- Open Settings on your iOS device
- Select “Wallet & Apple Pay”
- Scroll down to the “Transaction Defaults” section
- Tap on the “Default Card” entry and select your Taptap Send Card from the list
How many devices can I add my card to?
We allow you to add each Taptap Send Card to up to 5 devices.
How many cards can I add to a single device?
We allow customers to create a maximum of 5 Taptap Send Cards with us, this is therefore also the maximum you can add to a single device.
Will I see transactions on my phone?
Yes, you will see all of your card transactions on your phone within the Taptap Send app. Transaction history is also displayed in Apple Wallet for most cards, though only on iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro with Touch ID. Apple Watch does not show transaction history.
Why do I see a tick mark with 'Done' on my iPhone when the terminal in the shop says the payment has been declined?
The checkmark during payment only indicates that the data has been passed from the phone to the merchant's payment terminal, not that the card transaction was approved.
Does removing a card from my iPhone affect the card on my Apple Watch when they are paired together?
No, removing a card from your iPhone does not automatically remove it from your Apple Watch.
Does unpairing an Apple Watch from an iPhone remove the card on the Apple Watch?
Yes. When an Apple Watch is unpaired, all Wallet items (including payment cards) are automatically removed from the Watch.
What happens if my iPhone is lost/stolen?
Please contact our customer support team immediately to inform them that your phone and card were stolen. They can help you suspend or terminate your card remotely. Apple Pay cards can also be suspended remotely via Find My or iCloud.
When you next login to our app, we recommend that you:
- Reset your Taptap Send account password
- Create a new Taptap Send Card with a new and unique PIN
Can I resume the deleted cards if I find my lost device?
No, once we mark your card as lost or stolen, it is terminated and a new card number is created for you. This is done to keep your money in your Taptap Send Wallet safe and secure.
