If your transfer to MTN Zambia failed, you may be able to resolve the issue with the help of the recipient. Please find steps for common errors below.
Couldn't deliver to recipient
- Make sure that the recipient has set a PIN on their mobile money account. Ask them to dial *303# from their MTN phone and set a PIN, then try the transfer again.
- Ask the recipient to check their mobile money balance. If your transfer would put the recipient's balance above the maximum limit, you will receive this error.
- Ask the recipient to contact MTN and make sure they have an active mobile money account.
