iDEAL is an online direct payment method and works on the basis of online banking. It is only available in the Netherlands for now.
We will guide you through the process - step by step - in order for you to use it on Taptap Send’s app.

Choose the country you want to send money to:
- Insert the amount in Euro you want to transfer, click on Next.

Choose the recipient’s number from your Contact List or insert it manually by typing their legal name and their details (be sure it’s 100% correct as we don't guarantee refunds)

Next, If you have used Taptap Send before and completed your transfer with a debit card, you have You will be able to select the payment option where you see the Payment method information and an edit button on the right side (see screenshot below). Select the edit button and you will be able to select iDEAL.
- If this is your first time using Taptap Send, Select iDEAL as your payment method

Select your bank

Confirm your transfer details are correct and tap Next
- You will be brought into your banking app to approve your transfer

After confirming with your bank, you will be brought back to the Taptap Send app where you'll see a confirmation message
How to pay with the ING app
After clicking 'Pay with iDEAL' on the confirm transfer screen in the Taptap Send app
You'll see an ING screen. Select 'Pay with ING' at the bottom of the page.
You will be redirected to log into ING. Login and approve the transfer amount.
After approving, you will need to go back into the Taptap Send app where you'll see your transfer has been submitted.
